Does education stop at kindergarten?

Richard Rothstein of the Economic Policy Institute had a letter in The Times on Tuesday about the recent study on the value of good kindergarten teachers. Mr. Rothstein agreed that kindergarten was a worthwhile investment, but his main point was that education offered only a modest benefit to most workers.
